About HIS English
Helping Internationals Succeed with English (HIS English) is a step-by-step instructional curriculum for secondary and adult students. This material has helped non-native English speakers in more than twenty countries on four continents to learn English in intensive or weekly study settings.
HIS English is a three-level TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or ESL (English as a Second Language) curriculum. Each level contains a teacher’s guide, student’s workbook, reading practice supplement and a resource pack of ready-to-use vocabulary pictures, flashcards and word strips. There are nine lessons in each of the three levels. Lessons are composed of guided practice and communication practice related to the appropriate ACTFL proficiency levels.

DAYLE BURKHART has taught ESL and TEFL for over twenty years. She trains teachers and teams to conduct quality English programs around the world. Her master’s degree in ESL/TEFL Curriculum and Instruction is from Texas A&M University. Dayle is committed to equip trained and untrained teachers to teach conversational English well.
